Faridabad Satellite Hospital

The Faridabad Satellite Hospital was inaugurated by Late Dr. R.K. Seth in November, 1993.  The person who was pivotal in making this happen was an old friend and well wisher of Venu, Late Mr. M. L. Chatrath.

A satellite hospital was established in Maharaja Agrasain Hospital, situated about one and a half hour’s road journey, south of Delhi, in the rural area which stretches beyond and behind the industrial belt of Faridabad. In 1997, Venu’s Satellite Hospital shifted into the premises of Sant Bahgat Singhji Maharaj Gurudwara where the Gurudwara already housed a multi-specialty dispensary.  The change in location was primarily to give better accessibility to the patients so that many more people could reach eye services.

In September, 2003 an Eye Donation Centre was started with the objective of spreading awareness and to facilitate retrieval of eyes in district Faridabad.
